ZEUS Unit

ZEUS Unit

With SCAE’s custom containerized solutions, you can be up and running immediately, without compromise and without delays. ZEUS machinery is integrated into versatile, customizable units that are ready to be put into operation in just a few days, regardless of your plant’s specific needs. A practical solution that’s quick to implement, for any type of plant.

SCAE containerized units are self-contained modules that house the ZEUS press, complete with all the components necessary for sludge treatment. These are pre-assembled systems designed to be installed at any site without requiring any special construction work.

Each unit is equipped with:

  1. a sludge feed pump
  2. an automatic polyelectrolyte preparation and dosing station
  3. sludge and polyelectrolyte flow meters
  4. a screw conveyor system for handling the dewatered material

SLUDGE TREATMENT PROCESS

The sludge is drawn in, conditioned with the most suitable polyelectrolyte and separated inside the ZEUS press in a continuous and automated manner. The dewatered solid phase is conveyed to the outside via a screw conveyor system, while the clarified liquid phase is sent to the plant’s designated discharge point.

A CUSTOM-DESIGNED SYSTEM

Every type of sludge is different, which is why no SCAE containerized unit is truly “standard.” Container size, ZEUS press capacity, internal layout and level of automation: every element is defined in collaboration with the customer, based on the actual characteristics of the sludge and the specific needs of the facility. The result is a custom-built solution capable of adapting to everything from a small municipal wastewater treatment plant to a large industrial facility.

EASY INSTALLATION

One of the main advantages of SCAE’s custom containerized units is the remarkable ease with which they can be integrated into the customer’s operational environment. The unit is delivered pre-assembled and ready to be placed directly at the destination site: no masonry work or structural modifications of any kind are required, which eliminates the bureaucratic delays that often slow down traditional plant projects. This results in a significant reduction in the time and costs typically associated with commissioning a new sludge treatment plant.

Rapid delivery is a hallmark of this solution: from order to commissioning, lead times are minimized, allowing the plant to become operational in just a few days.

It is designed for::

  • Plants undergoing expansion
  • Operators who need additional capacity quickly and without construction work
